Helen K. Renner, 88, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,sister and friend to all, was called home to God to join her beloved husbandon January 23, 2010 after a lengthy illness.The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Mineral Wells, TX with burial atMemory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, Weatherford, Texas.Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. atBaum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home, with Rosary at 7:00 p.m.Helen was born September 7, 1921 on the family farm near St. Leo, Kansas toFrank and Allie Simon Fischer.Helen married Alfred C. Renner on April 3, 1945 in St. Leo, Kansas. Helenwas a homemaker, loving mother of seven children, a devout Catholic and amember of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where she served in the AlterSociety for 38 years.During, and following World War II, Helen worked at Boeing Aircraft Co. inWichita, Kansas building B-29 Bombers. After moving to Mineral Wells in1971, Helen worked as a baby sitter, typist, an assembler for EdoAire-Mitchell and later retired from Japanese Auto Service and Repair as theOffice Manager.Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 36 years, herbrothers Arthur and Clarence, and sister Pauline Ohl. Survivors are sons:Gerald of Mineral Wells, TX, Mark of Mineral Wells, TX, William and wifeFrancesca of Waukesha, WI, Gregory and wife Donna of Haltom City, TX.Daughters: Jane and husband Steve Nixon of Mineral Wells, TX, Carolyn andhusband Raymond Russell of Weatherford, TX, Susan and husband Von McCallumof Edmond, OK. Grandchildren: Jennifer Petry, Christy Pinkston, MichelleHudson, David Renner, Amanda Renner, Michael Russell, Katherine Russell,Paul Renner, Thomas Renner, Matthew McCallum, and Jessica McCallum. Fivegreat-grandchildren, sisters: Luella and husband John Clarke of Graham, TX,and Francis Treece of Wichita, KS: sister-in-law Bertha Fischer of Pratt,KS, and brothers-in-law: Arthur Renner of Sharon Springs, KS, and BillGarrett of Albuquerque, NM.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes CatholicChurch Building Fund.
