Helen Gernentz

Helen C. Archer Gernentz, 95, passed away October 2, 2011 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. The family will have a graveside memorial service at a later date in McAllen, Texas. She was the daughter of Jesse and Callie Davis Archer and lived in the Mission / McAllen, Texas area for most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Helen and Jim Stephens of Mineral Wells, Linda and Ken Fesler of Weslaco, TX., son and daughter-in-law Dennis "Butch" and Betty Gernentz of La Feria, TX., sister Jackie Riha of San Antonio, eight grandchildren and eight great-grand children, two nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents, husband Harry Gernentz, three sisters and one brother.
