Helen Marie Clayton

Helen Marie Clayton, 78, passed away on January 7, 2024 at Medical City Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born November 1, 1945 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Abige O’Neal West and Inez Fern Hughes West.

Helen was a hairdresser for 20 plus years.  She loved fishing, arrowhead hunting, the Brazos River, and pulling the handles at the Casino.

Survivors include her son, Michael Warren; daughter, Lisa Pendergraft and husband Mike. She also leaves behind four grandchildren:  Corbin Warren and wife Heather, Marissa Christopher and husband Drew, Brandon Pendergraft and wife Katie, and Bradley Pendergraft. Helen also has five great grandchildren: Slade Warren, Rylan Warren, Emersyn Christopher, Kahne Christopher, Jailee Christopher, Cooper Pendergraft, and Logan Pendergraft. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Abige and Inez West; husband, Norman Clayton; and son, William Bruce (Tooter Bill) Warren.

The visitation will be at 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be at the St. Frances of Assisi Catholic Church at 10:00 am Monday, January 15, 2024. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Trace Nowak, Corbin Warren, Brandon and Bradley Pendergraft, Justin Nowak, and Drew Christopher with honorary pallbearers John John McKee and David Carlyle.
