Heidi Michelle Lousha Zapata

Our most precious and beloved Heidi Michelle Lousha Zapata passed from this earthly world into the arms of her Heavenly Father on February 2, 2022.

Heidi was born on March 21, 1983, at Munson Army Hospital in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to her parents Michael and Jennifer Lousha.  From the very moment of her birth, she proved what a fighter she was, and her love and faith in God guided her footsteps down the pathways throughout her life.  She was a bright light of sunshine, laughter, and love to all she met.  To know her was to know true faith in God’s love and His awesome presence in her life.

Heidi’s greatest joy in life was her family.  She and Tony were married on Valentine’s Day in 2009, and they have two sons together, Zachary and Caleb. She was also blessed to enter into the life of her step-daughter, Nadyne.   Nothing gave her greater pleasure than being with her children, and the more family gathered together the greater her joy.

Heidi is survived by her husband, Guadalupe Antonio Zapata and their children Zachary, Caleb and Nadyne; her parents, Michael and Jennifer Lousha; her grandparents, Perry Gober, Sr and Linda Gober; her aunt and uncle Bonnie & Horace Hunter, uncle and aunt John & Stephanie Gober, uncle Perry Gober, Jr, and aunt and uncle Carol & Tye Shaner; and many cousins.   Her loss will be greatly felt by the scores of family and friends she has around the world.

Her memorial service will be at 2:00pm, Friday 2/11/22 at the First Baptist Church in Gordon, TX.
