Harmon Lee Watts, 74, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013, at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Anson Texas on November 13, 1938, to Floyd and Grace Watts. He was a loving husband, father, and loyal friend to many. He enjoyed serving his community and being a law enforcement officer for 18 years. Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Central United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. SURVIVORS - his wife of 57 years, Martha Jane Watts (married July 8, 1956); 4 children, son Howard Watts, daughter Linda Applegate and husband Larry, daughter Brenda Tarpley and husband Randy, son Michael Watts and wife Thersa, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, brothers Elmer Watts, and Larry Watts and wife Bea, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY: parents Floyd and Grace Watts, Brothers Delton Watts and Orvan Watts, sisters Pearl Grigsby and Charlene Bradley.
