Gwin Gray, 70 of Weatherford passed June 22, 2011. Born in Olney, Texas to George 'Bud' and Daisy Baker Gray. Gwin was a very giving and loving man. He was always there to help with any problem whether it be spiritual, mechanical or personal. He spent a lot of his free time with his children teaching skills to help them with their journey threw life. He loved spending time outdoors, working in the garden, and in his shop working on cars. He was a licensed rotary wing pilot and worked at Fort Walters for some time as a flight instructor training military personnel. He eventually retired from Lockheed Martin after many years of service. He fought a 4 year battle with lung cancer, he left this earth on his terms and never let the disease rule his life, and with his courageous fight it was hard to tell he was sick. He will be missed very much by all who were fortunate to know him. He is survived by wife of 39 years Ann Bien Gray; children Vickie Lewis, Freda and husband Barry Moore, Gary Lewis, Glenda and husband Jimmy Ruyle, Sandy Baker and Christopher and wife Jennifer Lewis; brothers Gayland Gray, Lonnie Gray, Jerry Gray and Eldin Gray; sisters Willa Holley and Dorothy Manley; daughter in law Connie Lewis; numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, 2 sons, Gwin Gray Jr. and Donnie Lewis Sr., a daughter Teresa Lewis, brothers Wayland Gray, Larry Gray and Frankie Gray and a great grandchild, Brock Howell. Visitation will be Friday June 24, 2011 from 5-7PM at the funeral home with services on Saturday June 25, 2011 AT 1PM in the Baum Carlock Bumgardner Chapel with burial following at Goose Neck Cemetery.
