Gwendolyn Dollins

Gwendolyn Dollins 53 of Mineral Wells, surrounded by her loving family, went home to be with her Savior on July 20, 2012. She was born in Mineral Wells, the daughter of George and Helen Griffin Davis. She was raised in Whitt, but claimed Mineral Wells as home. She spent 25 years of her life with the staff at Palo Pinto General Hospital as a friendly and loving employee and will be greatly missed by all there. Gwendolyn leaves behind husband, Edward Dollins of 36 years, daughter, Stephanie Dollins Owens, son, Stephen Dollins, grandchildren, Shawnee Dollins, Cheyenne Owens and Michaela Dollins, great-granddaughter Skylar Dollins mother, Helen Davis, sisters, Joressa Higgins, Sherry Copeland and Gale Payne, brothers, Gary Davis and Charlie Davis, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, George N. Davis and a sister, Georgia Whittenburg. Visitation is Saturday July 28, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. The funeral service is on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 3 P.M at the Indian Creek Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Gwendolyn Dollins name at Bank of America.
