Gorgonia Montalvo

Gorgonia Montalvo, 75, of Millsap, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 at her home in Millsap. Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Jeff Poirot officiating. Rosary will be 7 pm Monday. Burial will be in the Millsap Cemetery and Julio Hernandez, Preston Montalvo, Jose Montalvo, Andrew Montalvo, Abdon Montalvo, Marcus Trevino, Jesse Gonzalez and Juan Gonzalez will serve as pallbearers.Mrs. Montalvo was born September 9, 1933 in Mexico, the daughter of Aurelio and Mario Anita Ramirez Contreras and lived in Millsap since 1973. She was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.Survivors include her husband, Andres Montalvo of Millsap; children, Felicitas Gonzalez, Elizabeth Hernandez, Antonio Gloria, Leopoldo Montalvo, Jose Montalvo, Jesse Montalvo, Arminda Fuentes and Mryna Montalvo; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
