Goldie Walker

Goldie Helen Walker, 70, passed away June 1, 2014 in a mineral Wells hospital. She was born April 26, 1944 in Fort Worth the daughter of James William and Jesse Jewel Helton Reddell. She married Jay Walker in December of 1977 in Weatherford and he preceded her in death in November of 2013. She had lived in Mineral Wells since 1995 and in Weatherford prior to that. Services will be 10 AM Thursday, June 5, 2014 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Debbie Dykeman of Mineral Wells, Karen and Earl Morgan of Mineral Wells, Lennie and Tonie Taylor of Weatherford, May and Doug Royer of Mineral Wells, 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, brother: J. W. Reddell of Mineral Wells, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sons: John Edward and Scotty Ashby, sister: Jessie Roden, and brothers: Coy and Jackie Reddell.
