Glenn Eldredge

October 14, 1930 — January 1, 1900

Glenn Eldredge, 89, gained his heavenly wings Monday, November 18, 2019. He was born October 14, 1930. His passion was his woodwork. He loved making tractors, wagons, candle holders among many other things. Most of all he loved giving his woodwork to people to enjoy. He always took care of his family. He retired from Acme Brick Co. in 1994. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He will be greatly missed.Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Trayler and husband Steve; son, Curtis Eldredge; grandchildren, B.J. Trayler (Amy), Amy Glover and husband Kenneth, Veronica Edredge (Robby), Colton Eldredge; two great-grandchildren Hailey Trayler and Gunner Trayler; sisters, Bobbie Lampkin of Garland, Jeane Carrigan and husband Bob of Tioga, Shirley Thomas of Garland; several nieces and nephews.Glenn was preceded in death by the love of his life; his wife of 57 years, Janell Eldredge. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Willie Eldredge; and brother, Carlton Eldredge.The family deeply appreciates Alpha Omega Hospice. His special nurse Mirah and aide Britney, they took good care of him with love and compassion. A special thanks to all the staff at Palo Pinto Nursing and Rehab. A very special thanks to a special friend of the family Dorothy Crump.Our Daddy is pain free celebrating in Heaven with our mother, Jesus, his parents, brother and many more.Graveside services are 1 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Woodland Park Cemetery.
