Gilston Felix Love, 89, passed away on November 7, 2010 of a short stay in a Fort Worth hospital. He was born June 6, 1921 in Hot Springs County, Arkansas; the son of George Washington and Bertha Catherine Abner Love. He married Billie Massey on July 29, 1995 in Arlington, Texas. He had lived in Mineral Wells for the past fifteen years. He was a decorated US Army veteran and prisoner of war having served in World War II. He was a retired Electrical Aerospace Engineer for LTV. Graveside services will be 10AM Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Robert Ferrier officiating. He is survived by his wife: Billie Love of Mineral Wells, daughters and sons-in-law: Marsha and Kenneth Fregia of Daisetta, Elaine and James E Merrill of Saratoga, Alice Love of Arlington, Ginger and Charles Hart of Weatherford, Kay and Richard Shirley of Weatherford, and Sandra Hopkins of Cold Water, Michigan; grandchildren: Kenneth Fregia Jr., Anthony Steven Fregia, Taylor Jones, and Reagan Jones Love; six great-grandchildren; sisters: Ruby Rakow and Geneva Rakow, both of Washington, and Patricia Grimes of Missouri, and sixteen nieces and nephews. Instead of flowers, please make donations to the Big Thicket Natural Preserve.
