Gertrude Brannon

Gertrude Sue Brannon, 93, passed away March 23, 2015 in a Weatherford nursing home. She was born September 26, 1921 in Hearn the daughter of Walter and Sally Sue Harlan Thomas. She married Howard Brannon on July 31, 1946 in Mineral Wells. She was a longtime resident of Santo and a member of First Baptist Church of Santo. Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Santo. Burial will follow in Santo North Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Adena and Mike Lockwood and Rene and Leonard Edwards all of Santo, grandchildren: Mandy Salotti, Mikey Lockwood, Cody Edwards, and Rachel McCarty, great-grandchildren: Laci and Michael Lockwood, Ashleigh Salotti, and Skyler McCarty, sister: Sarah Sears of Joy, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on May 7, 2003, son: Bud Brannon, and brother: Walter Joe Thomas.
