Gerald Manley

Gerald Hubert Manley, 71, passed away March 17, 2011 at his home in Oran. He was born April 5, 1939 in Oran the son of James Hubert and Verna Nash Manley. He married Shirley Jean Brooks on July 10, 1956 in Jacksboro. He was a longtime resident of Oran and a Baptist. He was a farmer and owned and operated several convenience stores through the years. Graveside services will be 2 PM Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Lonnie DeArmond officiating. He is survived by his wife: Shirley Manley of Oran, children: Becky Ann Self of Breckenridge, Gerald Glen Manley of Oran, James David Manley, sisters: Sherlene Nelson and Katherine Kirkpatrick both of Mineral Wells, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
