Georgia Ann Hott Norris 91 passed away Friday, May 8, 2020. She was born April 11, 1929 to parents Jewel M (JM) and Lillian Irene Sims Hott, in Gainseville,Tx. She married her Husband Winston (Wendy) E. Norris in 1946. Georgia lived in Gainesville, Dye Community, Henrietta, Rome, Fort Worth, Denver, Aurora, and Mineral Wells. She worked in the school cafeteria in Boyd, the Volkswagen plant in Fort Worth and as a caregiver for her husband and others for many years.
She loved playing games with all the nieces and nephews and watching them playing sports. She even shared her love of playing games with every generation that came along and all the friends that would stop by to see her. She loved fishing with Winston and camping. Aurora loved her Baptist Church in Aurora and her Pastors that she served under.
Preceded in death by her parents, JM and Lillian Hott; husband, Winston Norris; brothers, Junior and wife Wanda, Raymond Allen and wife Virginia, Ray and wife Sandy, James Edward; and sister-in-law, Margaret.
Ann is survived by brother, George; sister-in-law, Margie; many nieces and nephews; close as a son, Billy Joe (Rocky) Crites; dear friend, Aundre Bentfall; and the wonderful kids and friends from her hometown of Aurora.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 12 at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora. Reverend Jimmy Withers will officiate the service.
