George Storey

George Randell Storey, 63, passed away August 11, 2015 in Parker County. He was born June 28, 1952 in Brownfield the son of Marshall Augustus and Mary Lou Norris Storey. He married Linda Paulette Sparks on September 11, 1981 in Mineral Wells. He worked for Rogers and Dunaway, Mintex Drilling, and Phillips and LaFleur Petroleum. He was in the Texas National Guard. He served 2 terms on the Mineral Wells City Council. He was a member of Millsap Church of Christ. Memorial services were 2 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Millsap church of Christ. He is survived by his wife: Linda Paulette Storey of Millsap, sons: Donald Wright of Lawton, Oklahoma, Michael Wright of Ft. Benning, Georgia, mother: Mary Lou Storey of Mineral Wells, brother: Ronald Storey of Corpus Christi, sister: Lori Meeks of Mineral Wells, grandchildren: Robert Jones and Margaret Wright of Lawton, Oklahoma, Donnie Wright of Portsmouth, Virginia, 5 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 great-nephews, and 1 great-niece. He was preceded in death by his father, and sister: Mary Christy Coxwell.
