Genevieve Furr

Genevieve Furr, 84, of Cool, TX, died Monday, June 20, 2016 at Palo Pinto General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Feb. 11, 1932, in Oroville, CA to Violet & William Lasswell. On October 14, 1950, she married Paul Furr. Geneieve was a member of the Mineral Wells Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Survivors include her son, Kenneth Furr & wife, Brenda of Mineral Wells, TX; daughters, Violet Coleman & husband, Randy of Joshua, TX, Suzan LaRance & husband, John of Mineral Wells, TX, Michele Carlson & husband, Alan of Elliott, IA, Marie Holdridge & husband, Roy of Granbury, TX; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and sister, Lucille Virden. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Marcella Davis. Visitation will be Thursday, June 23rd 6-8PM. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 24th at Baum-Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home with Leighton Holly & Nelson Bahena Officiating. Internment following service at Woodland Park Cemetery.
