Geneva Morgan White passed from this world to the peace and comfort of the next on August 26, 2018, at the age of 96. She was born on February 4, 1922 in Santo to parents, Benjamin Franklin Morgan and Stella Silvers Morgan and grew up in the Natty Flat community. In 1940 she married Harley T. White, who was a lifelong friend, neighbor and schoolmate. They had one daughter, Linda Carol. Geneva worked for Texas Power & Light in Mineral Wells for a number of years and then was the administrative assistant to three superintendents of MWISD until 1986. Geneva and Harley enjoyed traveling in their RVs after both retired. She was preceded in death by Harley T. White, her parents, Frank and Stella Morgan, her sisters, Novaline Morgan, Monta Morgan Chandler, Bernice Morgan Hervey and Opal Morgan Taylor. She is survived by daughter Linda Carol Moore and husband HC Moore; grandson, David Andrew Samuelson; sister, Judy Harwell Ledbetter; and a number of much loved nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Alpha Omega Hospice caregivers for excellent help and support as well as Marina Cook who came to my mother's home with loving care and kindness. Visitation will be on Friday, August 31st, 6 to 8 pm at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. A graveside service led by Jimmy Walker, will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 1st, at Evergreen Cemetery, east of Lipan.
