Geneva Hooten

Geneva M. Hooten, 89, passed away April 17, 2011 in a Mineral Wells assisted living facility. She was born July 29, 1921 in Wizard Wells the daughter of John Adderson and Laura Pearl Shook Felkner. She married Raymond Robert Hooten on March 11, 1937 in Bridgeport. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and lived in Perrin prior to that. She was a member of the North Oak Church of Christ. Services will be 10 AM Friday, April 22, 2011 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Willow Point Cemetery in Wise County. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Linda and Roger McQueary of Stephenville, Laura Lee and Charles Bender of Centerton, Arkansas, grandchildren and spouses: Mark and Kema McQueary, Ralinda and Heath Stone, Chad and T. K. Bender, Alan and Melissa Bender, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 6, 1990, 1 brother, and 1 sister.
