Gaynell Tackett

Gaynell Tackett passed away the morning of March 29, 2015. Nell was born April 21, 1932 to Robert E. and Florence L. Robinson in Santo, Texas. She was a longtime cake decorator for Winn-Dixie and a forty nine year resident of Millsap, Texas. Services will be 10 AM Thursday, April 2, 205 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Nell was preceded in death by her husband: Jack E. Tackett, brothers: Charles D., John Roy, and Wilbern Merle Robinson, and granddaughter: Donna Kaye Tackett. Nell is survived by sons and daughter-in-law: Roy Nicks, Ernest and Patty Tackett, daughter: Flowrence (Flo) Tackett, sisters: Willie Galik, Frances Casey, grandchildren: Robert Tackett, Jackie Tackett Hamilton, Jennifer Calhoun, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was a wonderful mother, nanny, sister, mentor, and friend.
