Gary Hampton

Gary Lynn Hampton, 59, of Mineral Wells, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral services will be 3 PM Tuesday at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel, Ken Horton officiating. Burial will be in the Staggs Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday. Mr. Hampton was born May 19, 1952, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Robert and Martha Jackson Hampton. He moved to Mineral Wells in 1966 and started Gary's Plumbing Service in 1970. He married Karen Oaks, October 18, 1996 in Mineral Wells. Survivors include his wife, Karen; son and daughter-in-law, Dax and Hillary Hampton of Jacksboro and son, Tony Hampton of Mineral Wells; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Claudia Hampton of Joshua, TX; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jeff Hampton.
