Joseph Gage Glidewell

Joseph Gage Glidewell, 31, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in Odessa. He was born October 9, 1990 in Fort Worth. Gage graduated from Mineral Wells High School class of 2009 and Tarleton State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Business degree. He enjoyed ranching and working cattle with friends on horseback. Gage played the guitar and enjoyed music; Townes Van Zandt was his favorite artist. He was a deep thinker and loved to draw and write in his journals daily. Gage loved everyone without judgement.

Survivors include his parents, Weldon and Phyllis Petty Glidewell; sister, Jordan Manning and husband Lee; his Nanu, Barbara Petty; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his dog, Gretel. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim Petty, Joe and Josephine Glidewell.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Saturday at the Mineral Wells Church of God. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the Mineral Wells Church of God with interment following at Dobbs Valley Cemetery.
