Fred Baker, 70, passed away March 14, 2012 in a Mineral Wells hospital. He was born April 10, 1941 in Romney, West Virginia the son of Reggie and Juanita Simmons Baker. He married Mary Lively on August 4, 1965 in Mineral Wells. He was a longtime resident of Palo Pinto. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean War. He worked as a guitar player and had played all over, and played his whole life. Services will be 2 PM Sunday, March 18, 2012 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Lively officiating. Burial will follow in Palo Pinto Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Mary Baker, sons and daughters-in-law: Tim Baker, Richard Lively, Butch and Michele Lively, Donnie and Ginger Lively, daughters and sons-in-law: Rose and David Southern, Judy and Chuck Lowe, grandchildren: Joshua, J. J., Robert, Thomas, Richard, Cody, Amanda, Eli, Max, Rob, Kaitlyn, and Kellci, 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death his parents, and brother: L. L. Baker.
