Franklin Lavon Kiker Sr.

Franklin Lavon "Corky" Kiker Sr., 82, passed away at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born January 13, 1934 in Roby the son of Benjamin Franklin and Tressie Lassiter Kiker. He married Myrtle Ann Kiker on November 27, 1955 in Roby. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and owned and operated Curtis Mathis Home Entertainment Center for many years. He was a veteran of the US Marines having served in the Korean War. Services will be 2 PM Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his children and spouses: Frank Jr. and Kristie Kiker of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Sherri and Robert Garcia of Mineral Wells; Stephen W. Kiker of Mineral Wells; Lisa and Danny Draper of Weatherford; grandchildren: Christopher, David, Josh, Jason, Matt, Becca, Amanda, Joshua, Brandon, Danelle, Jacob, Tasha, Luke, Dusty, Cody, and Kacie; 17 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law: Jimmy and Susan Kiker of Snyder; and numerous other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife on March 15, 2006, parents, 7 brothers, and 2 sisters. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America.
