Franklin Douglas Clark, Jr., 71, passed away on April 28th.A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10th at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells. Burial will be private.Doug was born November 23, 1942, in Staunton, Virginia, son of the late Franklin Douglas, Sr. and Frances Johnson Clark. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1961-64. He earned a B.A. in political science from TCU and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law. He practiced family law in Fort Worth and Mineral Wells for over 40 years and served as Tarrant County Circuit Court Judge.He was involved in several organizations, including the Chisholm Trail Roundup, Texas Cattlemen's Association, and the Annual Ryan Place Fourth of July Parade. For the past decade, he enjoyed living and playing on his ranch in Santo.Doug is survived by his children, Amy Waldon and her husband, Steve, Russell Clark and his wife Amanda; granddaughters, Ivy Waldon and Raine Grape; sister, Blair Clark and her husband, George Dmytrenko; and nephew, Michael Dmytrenko.Should friends desire, memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
