Francisco Villarreal

Francisco Flores Villarreal Jr., 89, passed away June 10, 2011 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born March 10, 1922 in San Angelo the son of Francisco Sr. and Margarita Flores Villarreal. He married Guadalupe M. Menchaca in 1948 in Cd. Acuna Coahwila, Mexico. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Templo Bautista Church. He worked for the Mineral Wells ISD and retired after 28 years. Graveside services will be 1 PM Monday, June 13, 2011 at Woodland Park Cemetery with Ramon Menchaca Jr. officiating. Visitation is Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his children and spouses: Martin and Josie Villarreal of Midland, Yadira and Arthur Sr. Galope of Quinlan, Texas, Edna V. Rios of Mineral Wells, Francisco Villarreal III of Mineral Wells, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, brothers: Emilio and Isidro Villarreal both of Mineral Wells, and sister: Anastacia Escobar of Mineral Wells. He was preceded in death by his wife on September 27, 2010, his parents, sister: Savis Uriagas, and brothers: Bacillio and Julio Villarreal. The family wishes to thank American Hospice and the nurses from There's No Place Like Home for the exceptional care given to him.
