A dedicated member of Southside Church of Christ, Renett served her church family by working in the church office and media center for several years. Her faith and fellowship were central to her life.
Renett is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Wayne and Anita Moore; the one she loved “like a daughter,” Leiana Bullock and husband Brad; stepdaughter Annette Barrington; grandchildren Cameron Bullock and wife Kaitlynn, Emma and Ben Bullock, Christina Aydt, and Emily Borchardt. She is also survived by her nephew Wes Moore and wife Carri, and niece Holly Moore, along with a host of many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob, and her brother Rickey A. McMinn.
The family will hold services on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Southside Church of Christ in Mineral Wells, with burial at Sturdivant Cemetery immediately following. Visitation will be held on October 31, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home.
Renett was known for her creative spirit and love for hobbies, especially crafting, scrapbooking, antiquing, and playing all kinds of games. Friends and family remember her as kind-hearted, easygoing, and blessed with a great sense of humor. Her presence brought joy to those around her, and her memory will live on in the lives of those she touched.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Serenity Estates Assisted Living for nine years of exceptional care and love, as well as to the compassionate staff at Gentiva Hospice for their support during this time. Renett’s spirit and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
