Frances Walker

Frances Moore Walker, 94, Mineral Wells, TX, went to be with her Lord on March 9, 2022. She has been a resident of Mineral Wells all of her life, and graduated from Mineral Wells HS. She was married to Robert (Bob) Walker on November 30, 1945 for 58 years before he passed away in 2003.

She is survived by her two daughters, Dana Connally (husband Rick) and Linda Moreno (husband Robert). Grandchildren; Dana Lynn Windham (Warren), Nicole Murray (Dan), Jolinda DeRosa (Devin) and Daniel Moreno; great grandchildren; Blaine Schulz (Carly), Chance Goodwin, Chace Goodwin, Taylor Murray, Nicholas Murray, Braden Murray, Brennan Murray, Beckham DeRosa, Knox DeRosa: great great grandchildren; Lillian Schulz, Delsyn Shulz, and Oryanna Schulz: Sister-in-laws, Carolyn Moore, Frances Walker, brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Norma Jean Walker. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert Walker, her parents, Edna and Oxford Moore, brothers, Pete (Ada), Ernest (Betty), and Don; brother and sister-in laws, Pauline (Buddy), Afton (Noel), Karl (Martha), and Donald (Yoko), and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was so loved by them all.

Frances spent her life devoted to Christ and served as a Sunday School teacher for many years, along with many other church ministries. She had a servant’s heart and was a blessing to so many people. She was a living example of Christs love and led many others to Christ. She believed in the power of prayer and the Lord’s forgiveness. Her smile lit up the room and warmed our hearts. She will be greatly missed and was loved by so many.

Visitation will be 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. A private family burial will held prior to the Celebration of Life.
