Frances Smith

Frances Jolene (Luna) Smith passed away peacefully on November 26, 2017 in Temple, TX. She was born in Jack County, TX on July 14, 1929 to Ward and Ruby Shipley Luna. She graduated from Perrin High School in 1946 and attended Sul Ross State College in Alpine, TX. She was married on June 1, 1946 to Wenford Medlin Smith. She is survived by her 2 children (Kent and Jill), 3 grandchildren (Sherry, Courtney and Hannah) and 6 great grandchildren (Elise, Hoyt, Haden, Hadley, Henson and Hank). Also, her sister, Wilma York and brother, R. Dwain Luna. She was preceded in death by: her husband, W.M. Smith (2013), her sisters Winne Luna (1946) and Barbara Baker (2013) and her brother Wilburn L. Luna (2016) She spent her career as a Secretary - Bookkeeper and loving homemaker and mother. Graveside services will be 2 PM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
