Frances Smith

Frances Smith 97, of Mineral Wells passed away May 17, 2013 at her residence in Mineral Wells. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday May 20th at the First Christian Church in Mineral Wells. Burial will follow at Woodland Memorial Park. No formal visitation is planned. Mrs. Smith will be in state for friends and family to visit beginning Saturday.Frances was born October 15, 1915 in Palo Pinto to William Francis And Emma Kate (Caugar) Logsdon. She married Samuel T. Smith December 15, 1934 in Mineral Wells. Frances was a member of the First Christian Church, The Mineral Wells Heritage Society, The Women's Club and the Christian Women's fellowship. She was a Sunday school teacher and a Girl Scout Leader.Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband Samuel, siblings Roy Logsdon, Margaret Donnell, Lillian Henderson, Couger Logsdon, Shirley Conway and Charles Logsdon.Frances is survived by her son Charles T. Smith, Sammye Jo Smith and Kathy Boswell and her husband David. 5 grandchildren Wendy Boswell, Joe Neil Boswell, Joshua Boswell, Shiloh Boswell and Shawn Smith. One great grandchild Emery Boswell. Numerous other family and friends.
