Floyd Lee Dillard passed away at his home in North Richland Hill, Texas. He was born in Clay County, Texas, April 26, 1929. After moving as a baby to Palo Pinto, County, he remained as life time resident until retiring to the Metroplex in May 2008.He is survived by his wife, the former Patsy Halford of the home, four sons and their wives; Gary and Cynthia Dillard of Mansfield, Phil and Kay Dillard of Joshua, Dana and April Dillard and Shane and Tara Dillard of Watauga; two daughters and a son in law; Lesa Matthews of Possum Kingdom Lake and Cynthia Dillard Ince and husband James Ince of Bedford, Texas; also a daughter in law Jan Dillard Terrell of Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by a son, Roger B. Dillard in February 2007.He leaves behind 12 grand-children and 11 great grand-children; 2 brothers, 1 sister, and a host of other relatives and friends.Floyd was a member of Eleventh Avenue Church in Mineral Wells and attended Mid-Cities Church in Bedford.Services will be 2 PM Wednesday at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with the burial in Brazos Valley Cemetery, officiated by Cameron Williams and Charles Mays.Pallbearers will be Piner Thomasson, Sr., Michael Thomasson, Jeff Miller, Kent Halford, Wes Rust and Paul Herring. Best friend Jesse Herring will serve as honorary pall bearer. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday.
