Floyd E. Chriestenson, 93, of Mineral Wells, went to live forever in the House of the Lord, after a short illness.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and bonus grandsons Robert, Chad, Cody, Michael Chriestenson and Chris Gossett and Bryan Henry.

Floyd owned and operated Chriestenson Automotive. After retiring he farmed and spent time with his family. Floyd loved interacting with his children; but the light of his world were his seven grandchildren, eight great-grand children and a lot of bonus kiddos who called him “ Granpa”.  Whether it was fishing, riding on the four by four, or feeding cows he just loved being with them.

Floyd is survived by his grand children Robert and Terrie; Chad and Ashley; Cody and Brenda, Shannon Prater, Michael and Tonia Chriestenson; and Becky and Jonah Salazar.

He greatly loved and adored his great grandchildren, Kassie, Kendal, Baylee, Colten, Shanda, Kaitlyn Chriestenson and Cassel and Cy Salazar.  He is also survived by his two sons Don Chriestenson and Floyd and wife Debbie Chriestenson of Mineral Wells, his sisters Alice Wilson and Mary Wilson of Arkansas and a brother Bill and wife Bonnie Chriestenson of Arkansas. Along with numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Floyd was preceded in death by his wife Arlene; son Albert Chriestenson and grandson Robbie Chriestenson; along with his parents and other family members.

Many thanks to Chelsea Kasten and Jamie Doughty for being his loyal caregivers these last months. Another thank you to Jenna, RN with Gentiva Hospice for the kindness and compassion shown the last few days of his stay on earth.  Sometimes we may not say thank you often enough for all those who have helped us along the way; please, let us tell you we sincerely appreciate every person. May God bless each of you.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Charity of your choice.

Until we see you again Granpa; we love you.
