Florencia Argueta Greenhalgh

Florencia Argueta Greenhalgh passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 in a Denton hospital. She was born November 23, 1959 in Canto El Tecomatal, San Miguel, El Salvador. Florencia lived in El Salvador, Guatemala, and the United States. She has developed friendships that are now all over the world. Florencia was a member of the Nuevo Empezar Church. She was employed by Santo ISD for 12 plus years. Florencia had a zest for life and had the best personality. She loved working for the school and seeing all the kids daily. She was the friend that everyone could count on and would always go to. She loved her family so much and struggled to get them where they are now. 

Survivors include her three children, Rafael E. Mendoza, Bernarda T. Argueta, and Peter G. Mendoza; stepdaughter, Katherine; 7 grandchildren; numerous family and friends in El Salvador, Germany, Spain, and throughout the US in Arkansas, Florida, Texas, and New York. She was preceded in death by beloved husband, James Greenhalgh.
