Faye Zinn Marsden, 85, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt passed away on August 9, 2015. Service will be Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10AM at Central United Methodist Church with Reverend Barry Holmes officiating; burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Faye was born September 30, 1929 in Mineral Wells, the daughter of Finis Ewing and Oma Potter Zinn. Faye was a 1947 graduate of Mineral Wells High School. She married Robert Lee Marsden, the love of her life, on June 8, 1950, and he preceded her in death on September 8, 1986. She was a longtime employee of Montgomery Ward. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church for more than 45 years.Faye was the matriarch of the family, having cared for not only her children and grandchildren, but also her parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was a constant in the church, the community, and her children's and grandchildren's lives. She was unaware of the tremendous influence and impact she left.Faye was preceded in death by her brothers, Bud, Jack, Frank and her sister, Nona.Faye is survived by her daughter, Debbie Marsden Brown, and son, Robert Lee (Robbie) Marsden II and wife Joanna. Grandchildren: Zinn Brown, Ramsey Brown Knight and husband, Stephen, Misti, Bailee, and Kirby-Lee Marsden, Courtney Havens and Ashely Peifer. Great-grandchildren: Camryn Marsden, Reese and Rory Knight, Parker and Leyla Brown, and Evie Peifer. Survivors also include her special niece, Polly McClure, and numerous nieces and nephews, her caregivers, Gladys Loftis and Barbara Burns, and her grand-dog, Baxter. Donations, in her honor, may be made to Central United Methodist Church.
