Faye Herring

Faye Herring, 76, passed away November 9, 2012 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. She was born May 6, 1936 in Strawn the daughter of Floyd and Marie Smith Spoon. She married Dub Herring on August 4, 1953 in Clovis, New Mexico. She was a longtime resident of Santo and a member of the First Baptist Church of Santo. Services will be 10 AM Saturday, November 17, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Santo with Pastor Matthew Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Santo North Cemetery. Visitation is Friday form 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband: Dub Herring of Mineral Wells, children: Jimmy Herring of Fort Worth, Sue Vandygriff of Mineral Wells, Donny Herring and wife Mindy of Santo, grandchildren: Jeremy, Jason, Hannah and Blake, great-grandchildren: Alissa, Jayson, and Carter, brother: Charles Spoon, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sister.
