Fay Bernice Malone, 87, of Abilene, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010, in Abilene. Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday at the Southside Church of Christ in Mineral Wells. Burial will be at the Woodland Park Cemetery. Mrs. Malone was born February 5, 1923 in Breckenridge, the daughter of A.B. and Maude Murphy Nuttall. She married Duane Malone, August 8, 1970, in Mineral Wells and he preceded her in death, September 16, 1995. She moved to Mineral Wells in 1970 where she lived until 2005 when she moved to Buffalo Gap. She attended the Southside Church of Christ while living in Mineral Wells, but was currently attending the Buffalo Gap Church of Christ. She worked at Southwestern Bell and later as a secretary for the city of Mineral Wells. Survivors include her daughter, Julie Privitt and husband Galen of Abilene; son, Scott Tobey of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, David Toby, Marcus Waechter and wife Brittany, Amy Ward and Heather Guest and her husband Jason; 7 great-grandchildren; a nephew, Larry McGee. The family suggests donations be made to the Sunny Glen Children's Home in San Benito, TX.
