Evelyn Jackson

Evelyn Keller Jackson 87 of Mineral Wells passed away peacefully on December 15, 2013. She was born in Olton Texas, the daughter of the late Elijah and Winnie (Robertson) Keller. After graduating high school she met and married the love of her life, Gerald Jackson. The job that she retired from after 36 years of service, actually found her because of her long arms. She worked for Bell telephone, SWBT and ATT starting as a switch board operator. She and Gerald loved to travel and make memories of places visited. She enjoyed fishing, but most of all her dominos, she played a mean game of 42; some actually feared getting at a table with her and husband. She is survived by nephews Douglas Keller, Larry Keller, Charlie Horton, Chris Miller, David Keller, Allen Crayon and Gerald Ray Jackson; nieces Debbie Fox, Betty Veach, Joanne Richardson, Lori Keller, Tressa Hendrix, Verna Walker, Wilma Dunn, Vickie Keller, and Bobbie Harry. She was preceded in death by parents, husband Gerald Jackson, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Visitation is set for Wednesday December 18th from 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home on Thursday December 19th at 10:00am, burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
