Eugenia Turner

Eugenia Turner of Dallas passed away in Houston Sunday March 1, 2015. She was born October 8, 1926 in Jack County, Texas. Eugenia worked for Republic National Life Insurance in Dallas, TX for 40 years before retiring. Eugenia had a love for sewing for the nieces and nephews. During her retirement, she enjoyed painting, and it always reflected her love for Texas. She accepted Christ at a young age at Sparks Springs 2nd Advent Christian Church. She was an active member of Grace Temple Baptist Church for over 60 years. She moved to Houston in 2014 to be cared for by her niece Paula. Eugenia was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Eugenia Lee Turner, brothers, Arvil, R.B. and Ides Turner and sisters, O'Letta Willard and Irlene Turner. She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Dodson, her sister-in-law Othela Turner, both of Jack County, Texas and by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 1:00PM at Spark Springs 2nd Advent Christian Church where service will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Perrin Cemetery.
