Ethel Mae Elliston Hall

Ethel Mae Elliston Hall, native of Palo Pinto County, died February 8, 2010, in Weatherford, Texas. She was the wife of Robert McConnell "Bob" Hall, who died on June 29, 1984. Ethel was born February 24, 1921, the daughter of Edward Earl Elliston and Shirley Mae Moore Elliston.Ethel is survived by one brother, James Earl Elliston and wife Barbara of Mineral Wells; by Mrs Bill (Johnnie) Hall, sister-in-law, of Weatherford; Pru Hall of Santo; Mrs. Charles (Johnnie) Elliston of Huntsville; three children, Carolyn Jean Clary and husband Kenneth of Garner; Robert Edward Hall and wife Carol of Cedar Park, Texas; and Cheryl Kay Sisemore of Albany, Louisiana. Her beloved grandchildren are Kenneth Wayne Clary, Jr., and wife Karol; Robert Kevin Clary and wife Lynellen; Gregory Keith Clary and wife Diana; Janet Kiplin Warren and husband Cliff; Amy Laura Hall and husband John Utz; Robert Eugene Hall and wife Rebecca; James William Stanley II and wife Keri; Jon Austin Stanley and wife Sabrina; Christopher Singleton Sisemore, Jr.; and Steven Ray Sisemore. Mrs. Hall also was blessed by 11 great-grandchildrenDanielle and Deanna Trudeau; Taylor Blackman; Gunner Clary; Kayla Anderson; Brooke, Brittany, and Jere Warren; Rachel and Emily Hall Utz; Robert Adam and William Jonas Hall; and James William Stanley III.Ethel's brother, Charles Elliston of Huntsville, preceded her in death in 2008.Visitation will be at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home on Thursday evening, February 11, from 6 until 8 PM. Services will be 10 AM Friday, February 12, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Carol Woods officiating, where she was a member most of her adult life. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery.Ethel was a faithful Christian, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a loyal friend to many. She will be greatly missed. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to First United Methodist Church of Mineral Wells, Texas, or to the donor's favorite charity.
