Enrique Chavira

d. June 20, 2013

Enrique Chavira 58 of Mineral Wells passed away suddenly on June 20, 2013. He was born in Mineral Wells, the son of Bicente Torres Chavira and Aurora (Leyton) Chavira. Enrique graduated from Mineral Wells High School and went into the U.S. Air Force, where he spent four years proudly serving his country. He was currently working for G & F Oil Inc. as a Petroleum Engineer. He had spent most of his working life in the oil & gas industry and truly enjoyed every day of his work, to some he was known as the "well whisperer" because of his passion and knowledge of the industry. When Enrique had some spare time he loves playing foosball, and probably had trouble finding a worthy opponent because of his talent on the table. He also had a special place in his heart for animals; stray animals are what he loved. He would take in any that were in need of food, water or shelter. He leaves behind son Benito Chavira; mother Aurora Chavira; wife Rosemeri Chavira; brothers Roberto Chavira and wife Juanita, Bicente Torres Chavira Jr.; sisters Mary Gonzales and husband Amaro and Ester Ramirez, all the Chavira family resides in Mineral Wells; mother-in-law Stanislawa Dworakowski; sister-in-law Roseli Dworakowski Braga and brother-in-law Miltom Lobato Braga, all from Brazil. He was preceded in death by his father Bicente Chavira and father-in-law Newton Lobato Braga. The Rosary is Sunday starting at 6:30pm until 8pm at the funeral home, and funeral Mass is Monday June 24, 2013 at 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
