Engracia Garcia-Cervantes, also known as “Ma Avila” and “Maria” passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020. She was born to Jose Rosario Garcia Martinez and Maria Asuncion Cervantes Zarate, on July 11, 1982, in San Miguel de Allendo Gto, Mexico. Maria worked at Cantex. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Maria is survived by her husband, Pedro Mendez; children, Jacqueline Michelle Mendez, Pedro Mendez, Jr., Jasmin Mendez, and Brian Jonathan Mendez; numerous other family and friends.
A rosary will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 12 at Our Lady of Lourdes with burial following at Woodland Park Cemetery.
