Elsie Florene Tyler, 76, passed away June 17, 2009 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. She was born September 11, 1932 in Haskell the daughter of John William and Gertrude Laura Sander Barnett. She married Gentry Tyler in 1945 in Weatherford. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and was Pentecostal. Services will be 10 AM Saturday, June 20, 2009 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Lively officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her son: Earnest Tyler, daughter: Victoria Fulbright both of Mineral Wells, grandchildren: Ken Clay Fulbright, Ernest Wayne Fulbright, Dustin Edmund Tyler, brothers and sister-in-law: Roy Barnett, Charles and Betty Barnett, and Louis Barnett all of Mineral Wells, sisters and brothers-in-law: Minnie and Marvin Green of Gainesville, Ruby and Bill Wigginton, and Norma Dinwiddie both of Mineral Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1990, son: James Edmund Tyler in 1954, brothers: Carl, J. B., and Leo Barnett, and sisters: Laura Bell Surber and Nellie Lindley.
