Elsie Fay Jenkins

Elsie Fay Jenkins, 91, passed away March 26, 2018 in Mineral Wells. She was born November 27, 1926 in Mineral Wells the daughter of Willie and Heneretta Harris Davis. She married Robert H. Jenkins on October 27, 1947 in Lamesa. She was a lifetime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She worked at Houston School as a cook and in several restaurants in town through the years. Services will be 2 PM Thursday, March 29, 2018 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. She is survived by her children: Connie Price and husband James of Mineral Wells, Anita Jenkins of Denton, grandchildren: Diana Miller of Mineral Wells, Robert Price and wife Krista of Arlington, Alayna Harvey and husband David of Mineral Wells, great-grandchildren: Tyler Miler, Jayci and Jonathan Cribbs, Clayton and Nolan Price, EmaGrace Hendrix, and Liam and Lexy Harvey and sister-in-law: Mildred Walls. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years: Robert H. Jenkins on July 19, 2014, her daughter: Marsha Jenkins, her parents, and her siblings: Doc and Elizabeth Burnside, B. C. Burnside, Margaret and Oscar Mahan, May and Earl Murray, Sonny and Myrle Davis, Sam Davis, and Gracey and Floyd Valley.
