Elnor Garrison

Elnor Ruth Garrison, 74, passed away December 4, 2017 at her home in Clyde. She was born August 28, 1943 in Mineral Wells the daughter of Clyde and Iva Glover Burns. She married Nick Garrison on January 12, 1961 in Mineral Wells. She had lived in Mineral Wells most of her life and had moved to Clyde around 1990. She was a member of Hamby Baptist church in Hamby, TX. She worked as a hairdresser for 20 years in Mineral Wells and Abilene. Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Oran Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her children and spouses: Diana and Nathan Mitchell of Hamby, David R. Garrison of Clyde, Beverly and Joe Pruitt of Abilene, Vanessa and Joe Stewart of Snyder, 7 grandchildren: Menden, Crystal, Fallyn, Whitney, Amanda, Miesha, and Jeffrey, 5 great-grandchildren, siblings: Norman Burns of Woodward, Oklahoma, Glenn Burns, Ramona Evans, Jack Burns, and Paul Burns all of Mineral Wells, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on February 16, 2003, daughter: Kimberly Frie, and brothers: Jimmy Dale and Raymond Burns.
