Elizabeth Ann Swift

Elizabeth Ann Swift passed away peacefully on July 18, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born July 4, 1947 to the late Clyde Howard and Viola Graves. Elizabeth had a very successful career in the medical field, which she was proud of.  At 17, she marred Gilbert Lee Hughes and they had 5 children. After their divorce she eventually remarried and became Elizabeth Swift.

Survivors include her children, Gilbert Lee Hughes, Elizabeth Ann Kertz and husband Marc, Dennis Hughes and wife Rebecca, Andy Hughes and wife Tammy, and Daniel Hughes; grandchildren, Florence and Kaleb Norman, Leah Howard, Daniel Hughes II, Caroln Brawley, Kaitlynn Hughes, Sara Hughes, Simon Hughes, Teagan Hughes, Eris Hughes, Kyle Craig, Derek Hughes, Brittany Harwood, Dennis Jr Hughes, Kamryn Hughes, Ethan Hughes, Nina Maia, (Jackson), Zayleigh Maia, Gabriel Maia, Sarah Maia, Andy Hughes II, Drake Anlcrum, Samantha Anlcrum; and many great grandkids, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be 9 a.m., Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Dilbeck Cemetery. Gary Word will officiate and pallbearers will be Kaleb Norman, Daniel Hughes II, Dennis Jr. Hughes, Ethan Hughes, Kyle Craig, Dereck Hughes, Simon Hughes, and Andy Hughes II.
