Elizabeth Lukas 89, a transplanted Texan from Long Island, NY died peacefully Sunday Oct 16, 2011 in Ft. Worth.Elizabeth was born on August 6, 1922 in College Point, NY.She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend. She loved & lived to bake and spoiled many family members & friends with her goodies. She always thought of others before herself and she will be missed tremendously. Funeral service: 9:30am Tuesday Oct 18 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.Interment at a future date Survivors: include her daughter Pat Fowler, sons & daughters-in-law Robert & Beverly Lukas of TX, Tony & Marianne Lukas of FL, sons Michael Lukas of NY, Andy Lukas of FL, sisters Julia Forgione & Madelaine Costa of FL, Catherine Cestaro, brother & sister-in-law Charles & Marilyn Wild of NY. Grandchildren James & Kevin Fowler, Steven Lukas, Kristen Carpenter & husband Daniel, Jeremy Lukas & wife Kim of TX. Roger Lukas & wife Nancy of NY, Andy II & Jessica Lukas of NY. Great-grand-children Autumn & Destiny Fowler, Tyler & Tate Fowler, Lalla Fowler of TX. James & Christopher Lukas of NY. Also several nieces & nephews in NY & FL.
