Elizabeth Crowe

Elizabeth Louise "Bettye" Crowe, 89, passed away August 14, 2011 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. She was born January 15, 1922 in Mannheim, Germany the daughter of Franz and Maria Heilit Eisenhauer. She married James Clifford Crowe on December 24, 1949 in Mannheim Germany. After they were married they came to America and traveled to many places during her husband's Army Days. After Jim retired while stationed at Ft .Wolters they made their permanent home in Mineral Wells. She had lived in Mineral Wells since April 1961 and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church since 1964. She worked for Dr. James McCall for 30 years and also worked for Jones Hearing Aid Service. She was a member of the National Secretary's Association, Zonta Club, PPGH Auxiliary, and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Altar Society. Mass will be 10 AM Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Chapel with Father Balaji Boyalla officiating. Burial will follow in Memroy Gardens Cemetery. The Rosary will be 6 PM Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in the Chapel. She is survived by her nephew: Dieter Fink of Hamburg, Germany, many loyal friends, and her cat: Mooch. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992, her parents and 3 sisters all of Germany. Memorials in Bettye's honor may be made to PPGH Auxiliary or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
