Elizabeth Aby Carey

Elizabeth Aby Carey, 93, passed away December 21, 2011 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. She was born May 13, 1918 in Delta County the daughter of John Callaway and Mattie Bell Henley Sellers. She married Clarence Taylor Carey on December 20, 1935 in Seminole. She was a longtime resident of Palo Pinto County. Services will be 2 PM Monday, December 26, 2011 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Charles and Joyce Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Santo North Cemetery. She is survived by her children and spouses: Virginia and Bill Massie of Millsap, L. B. and Angela Carey of Hannibal, Hattie Bell Turner of Santo, Clarence and Marian Carey of Granbury, Elizabeth and Willis Barrington of Granbury, and numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in October of 2000 and grandson: James Luther Turner Jr..
