Elizabeth Brooks

Elizabeth Charlene Brooks 85 of Mineral Wells passed away on April 4, 2014. She was born in Raville, Louisianan the daughter of Roy and Bessie (Wedgeworth) Vick. Charlene worked and lived her adult life in Mineral Wells. Some of her fondest memories were working at the Baker Hotel; she worked as an office manager in the late 60's at the Baker. A graveside service is scheduled for Friday April 11, 2014 10a.m. at Woodland Park Cemetery. Survivors are daughter Deborah and husband Lucky Gilbert of Mineral Wells; sons Richard and wife Mary Ann Johnston of Fort Worth, Milton and Mark Brooks; brother Clifton Vick of Trinidad, Texas; son-in-law David Thompson; grandchildren Amy Dillard, Jason Thompson, James Thompson, Elizabeth and Michelle Brooks, Castle Lovett, Jeffery Johnson and Erin Batencourt along with numerous great-grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, husband and daughter Vickie Thompson.
