Elizabeth Naomi Barham

Elizabeth “Naomi” Mitchell Barham, age 82, beloved wife, mother and homemaker went home to be with the Lord peacefully on August 4, 2024. She was born September 3, 1941, in Mineral Wells to Leroy and Jewel Boyd Mitchell. 

 Naomi met and married the love of her life, Robert Leon Barham, on November 16, 1955. They were married 65 wonderful years before he preceded her in death. Naomi worked for Mineral Wells ISD in the school cafeteria for 9 years, was a carrier for the Mineral Wells Index for 13 years and she loved volunteering for the Palo Pinto General Hospital Auxiliary where she served over 8000 hours. She was a member of the First Baptist Church Achievers Sunday School class and senior adult ministry Prime-Time. 

 Naomi leaves behind sons Danny Barham and wife Kim of Fort Worth, Ronnie Barham and wife Marianna of Burleson, Allen Barham and wife Leslee and Michael Barham and wife Angie both of Mineral Wells. Grandchildren Brandon and wife DeAndra, Cole and wife Crystal, Ashley Preston, Todd and wife Krystal, Chase and wife Ashli, Kaylee Sparks and husband Kit, Jordan and wife Hillary, Riley, and Shawn Nelson. 18 great grandchildren, Colbie, Hunter, Kylee, MacKenzie, Joelle, Jay, Stella, Steven, Noah, Madi, Isaiah, Jonah, Reece, Carter Barham, Kayden, Kenzlee, Kallen and Kollins Sparks. Sister-in-law Jenny and Brother-in-law Stanley and wife Sandra. Several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Alton Walker and Wayne Ellis, sister Bea Sims, grandson Mark Barham and great-grandson Jaxon Barham. 

 Funeral services for Naomi will be Monday, August 12th, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church interment will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Baum-Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meals on Wheels of Palo Pinto County or First Steps Preschool First Baptist Church Mineral Wells.
