Eldon Clary

Eldon Gandy Clary Sr., 91, passed away June 3, 2009 in a Fort Worth hospital. He was born May 23, 1918 in Double Mountain, Texas the son of William Jackson and Cena Mae Reece Clary. He was a longtime resident of Millsap and a member of the First Baptist Church of Millsap. He served as a Deacon for many years. He was a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Eastern Star. He married Chlodell Parker on July 8, 1939 in Mineral Wells. Services will be 10 AM Saturday, June 6, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Millsap with Rev. Steve Edge and Rev. Houston Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Dr. Eldon Jr. and Juanita Clary of Russellville, Arkansas, daughter and son-in-law: Barbara and Benson Vann of Houston, grandchildren and spouses: Cindy Thompson of Russellville, Arkansas, Donna and Steven Milligan of Russellville, Arkansas, Kathy and Roger Bradshaw of Millsap, Bill and Lorie Clary of Conway, Arkansas, Mark and Becky Vann of Houston, 10 great-grandchildren, sister: Neta Light of Lipan, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife on May 28, 2008.
